Venue Group - Booking Custom Field

If you would like to add an extra field to your widget for the customer to enter information in, you can set this up by going to:

  • Settings

  • Venue Group

  • Bookings tab on the left-hand side

  • Custom Field

  • Add the name of the field into the Booking Customer field box

  • Make sure to SAVE the page 

This is especially useful if you need to request a membership number from the guest when booking or need any other extra information from them i.e. Dietary Requirements, Type of Occasion.


The custom field will appear on the second iframe on your widget:


If the custom field has been filled out, this information will feed through to the function sheet and customised run sheet. On the customised run sheet, you can choose whether you want to include the custom field by using the tick box.


The custom field will always appear on the function sheet in the customer details section under ADDITIONAL DETAILS (as long as it's filled in on the booking).


For any auto-confirm bookings where information is entered into the custom field, you will also receive a notification in the auto-conf. add details' section of the notification centre.
