Particularly if you enable Collins to auto-confirm bookings for you, it’s really important that your team are manually assigning tables to bookings/enquiries to book out or provisionally hold tables respectively. Without doing this Collins will not know your venue’s actual availability and won’t accurately know whether auto-confirm bookings can be confirmed or not. Follow this guide to enable Mandatory Table Assignment.
Once enabled, every time a User adds a new Booking or Enquiry within the Diary, Floorplan or Run Sheet, using the Walk-in or Add Booking Button - as per below - they should all be using the Find Areas tool to search for and assign an available table to the booking/enquiry.
Should they miss this step - they’ll find that the Enquire and/or Complete buttons will be shaded out until they select a Table within the Assign to Areas section - see below screenshots.
