Customer Database - How to update a customers marketing permissions

If a customer signed up to your marketing when submitting an online booking or enquiry into Collins, or in person, there are two ways in which you can amend the customers marketing permissions accordingly:

1. Within an Enquiry > Customer Profile in the bottom left corner - you’ll be able to see an overview of what marketing the customer has opted in for (if you have multiple marketing preferences) or if they have not opted in at all.

For example, the customer below has opted in to Text marketing.

Should the customer get in touch to opt-out of Text marketing or opt-in to Email marketing too, I can select ‘Edit preferences’ > tick the marketing options they wish to opt-in to or untick those they wish to opt-out of > SAVE.

2. Customers tab> you can search for customers by first name, last name, email address or phone number. Once you have found the customer > click on them to be brought into their record.

Here you can make any changes to their record, such as name, email address, phone number, company, labels, notes etc.

To amend Marketing Preferences, select ‘Edit Preferences’ in the left-hand side > edit accordingly > SAVE.
