Enquiries Page - What does it mean to 'Take' an enquiry?

When you want to assign an enquiry to yourself, click on the red TAKE label and the status will automatically change from a ‘Take’ to ‘In progress’ and your user’s initials will appear in the ‘User’ column. It is important to do this to alert any other users that you are now dealing with the enquiry.

 

  

NB - If two different users click on the ‘Take’ button at the same time, one user will be warned that this enquiry has now been taken.


**Please note: When you ‘Take’ an enquiry you are not sending anything out to the customer, but taking ownership of that enquiry in the system.

If, after taking the enquiry, you need to re-assign it, go into the enquiry and use the 'Assigned to' drop down on the left-hand side to select another user. Make sure to click the purple SAVE button to confirm.
