If you use Collins to check-in customers throughout live service, here is a breakdown of what each section means in the check-in list:
The Filter button allows you to refine the bookings list in the check-in panel and on the diary so you're only looking at bookings that are relevant to you. More details here.
The Space Optimiser is a function that live checks to make sure the space in your venue is always being utilised to it's most efficient capacity. More details here.
Underneath both buttons lies the Check-In facility:
> At the top of this section, you will see the list of Bookings in for that day (depending on the filters that you have set at the top) and each booking has three separate columns:
Left - The expected time of arrival and the customers name/'Walk-in', plus any notifications associated with that booking.
Middle - The pax size of the booking and what table they are in. If the booking is 'Unassigned', instead of a table number you will see an arrow with an orange outline
Right - The status of the booking; whether it has been checked in or not. If you haven't checked the booking in, you'll see a Tick, and once you have clicked the tick to mark that booking as arrived, the panel will turn green and the tick will be replaced with a 'Left' icon.
> Underneath your list of Bookings, you'll see Open Enquiries - these are In Progress Enquiries for this date.
> Finally, you'll see the Finished Bookings, these are bookings that have either been marked as a ‘No show’ or ‘Left’. Marking a booking as ‘left’ can either be actioned manually using the booking stages or you can enable Collins to automatically check bookings out once the duration is up - if you’d like to enable this feature please read this guide.
