Within a Booking/ Enquiry- How to delete a booking/enquiry
To delete bookings within Collins, your user must have the Deleted Bookings permission enabled.
Once this has been enabled, you will then be able to delete bookings. You can do this either from the enquiries page (useful for mass deletion) or within the individual booking/ enquiry.
To delete an individual booking/enquiry, simply click into the enquiry you would like to delete. If the booking is new, you will need to ‘take’ the enquiry before you can delete it.
> Click on the delete button (screenshot above)
> Select the reason for deletion- spam, duplicate or other.*
> Select ‘delete’
This will change the status to deleted. If you need to revert this, you can select ‘re-open’ to bring the booking back to in progress.
Make sure to SAVE at this point.
To delete multiple bookings at once, head to the Enquiries Page.
> Use the tick box to select the bookings/ enquiries you would like to delete
> Click on the delete button
> Select the reason for deletion- spam, duplicate or other.*
> Click ‘Delete’ to delete the selected bookings/ enquiries
If you would like to search for deleted bookings, you can use the ‘Add Filter’ tool to filter down by Status > Deleted.
N.B- Deleted bookings are not searchable in the search bar.
*Please note that you will not be able to see the reason as to why the booking has been deleted. This is data we are currently storing internally at Collins to improve future spam detection.
