Changed Rules Notification Setup- Enabling email notifications for rule updates

To enable notifications when certain rules are updated in your admin for a specific venue in your Collins admin, go to

  • Settings

  • Venues

  • Choose the venue name

  • Changed Rules Notification Setup

  • Tick ‘Override Venue Group Settings

Please note that if you want to be alerted of the same settings changes across all of your sites, you will set this up at Venue Group level.

  


You can add the email address you’d like to receive emails too, and multiple email addresses by entering a space after the address.

There are four different options that you can receive email notifications for:  

CLOSE BOOKINGS

The email addresses added will receive an email when bookings are closed from the dashboard, or from the Close Bookings section on the venue settings page.

OPENING HOURS

The email addresses added will receive an email when the opening hours are changed for a venue, or an override date is added/removed/modified.

CLOSED AREAS

The email addresses added will receive an email when any Close Area rules are added/removed/modified.

BOOKING TYPE OVERRIDE DATES

The email addresses added will receive an email when an override date is added/removed/modified for any booking type.

When any rule that has been ticked is updated, The email addresses added will receive an email with details of the rule, and the team member who made the changes.
