Within a Booking/Enquiry - How to update a customers marketing permission
If a customer signed up to your marketing when submitting an online booking or enquiry into Collins, or in person, there are two ways in which you can amend the customers marketing permissions accordingly.
Within an Enquiry > Customer Profile - you’ll be able to see an overview of what marketing the customer has opted in for (if you have multiple marketing preferences) or if they have not opted in at all.
For example, the customer below has opted into Text marketing.
Should the customer get in touch to opt-out of Text marketing or opt into Email marketing too, I can select ‘Edit preferences’ > select the marketing options they wish to opt in to or untick those they wish to opt-out of > Save and make sure to SAVE the booking.
Customers section > you can search for customers by first name, last name, email address and phone number. Once you have found the customer > select customer to be brought into their record.
Here you can make any changes to their record, such as name, email address, phone number, company, labels, notes etc.
To amend Marketing Preferences, select ‘Edit Preferences’ in the left-hand side > edit accordingly > Save.
