If you have a customer who wants to make multiple bookings or a repeat booking/event, for example, a meeting every Monday morning or a Quiz Table on a Wednesday, you can add a series of bookings in Collins by pressing the ‘Copy’ button.
By default, this will copy over:
- Customer Name
Contact details(email address & phone)
Type of booking
Areas assigned to
Once you click ‘Copy’ and you can then choose to copy the booking once or select ‘Repeating’ for multiple dates.
You then have the option of how often you’d like the booking to repeat. You can choose from:
After selecting how often you’d like the booking to repeat, if you’ve selected Weeks or Months, you then have the option of when you’d like it to repeat: Weeks will give you the option of which weekday and months will ask if you’d like to repeat on the same date each month, or the same day of the month (e.g. 4th Sunday of the month).
You can then select when you’d like the repeated booking to end, either by date, or after a number of bookings.
After choosing when you’d like the booking to repeat, you have the option to select what other details you’d like copied over:
Once you click ‘Create bookings’, it will create the repeat bookings and give you a list of the reference numbers.
Please note that if the original booking has been confirmed and you have automatic confirmation emails set up, the customer will receive a confirmation email for each booking.
If the original enquiry is still In Progress, the copied repeat enquiries will also be in progress.
