You can take both a payment/deposit and a separate pre-order payment at the point of booking for auto-confirm bookings. This could be useful if you take a standard deposit, but would also like to take a pre-order payment on top of this. To do this head to:
Settings > Venues and choose the venue
Booking Types tab on the left-hand side
Click on the Booking Type
scroll down to Customer Payments and add your payment rules
At the bottom of this section, tick the box named ‘Add to pre-order payment’.
The customer will first be asked to make their pre-order when making an online booking. Once the chosen items have been selected, the next stage of the booking will ask for an ‘Additional payment’ and display any payment notes. The two amounts will be added together and the customer will be required to make a payment before the booking can be completed.
