Run sheet - What is the 'Run Sheet' section and how do I use it?
If using a tablet to manage your bookings in during Live Service, you can use the Interactive Run sheet to see a chronological list of your Bookings for the day (4th tab at the top - between the Floorplan and Reports):
Here you can:
> Check bookings in - simply click on the green CHECK-IN button and this will mark the booking as arrived, colour the booking green and add an A next to the customer's name. The CHECK-IN button will now say LEFT. Once the booking has gone, click LEFT to remove from the Booking list. The booking will then be moved into the Finished Bookings section at the bottom of the page. If you have enabled the ‘Automated 'left' stage’ feature, this process will be automated and your bookings will be automatically marked as left once their duration is up.
> Record Actual numbers - to mark the actual number of covers that have arrived for the booking, click on the number in the Guests column of the run sheet. Then use the drop-down to mark how many people have actually arrived.
> Mark No shows - to mark a booking as a no show simply click on the NO SHOW button next to the check-in button. This will shade the booking with dark grey colour and move it to the bottom of the page along with the Finished Bookings.
> To see the Function Sheet with more details of a booking, click on the eye icon on the right-hand side. To go to the edit booking page, click on the arrow icon next to the eye on the run sheet, or the edit booking button on the expanded function sheet pop up (when using the eye).
> Sort bookings alphabetically - This will rearrange the names in alphabetical order (by the first name)
> Any authentications made or payments added will appear on the run sheet in grey. If money has been claimed off an authenticated card, the amount taken will show as £XX paid (as shown in the second booking below).
