Booking Types - How to Setup Automatic Cancellation Emails When Rejecting a Booking/Enquiry
Instead of going to Messages and composing a cancellation email within the booking, you can set your Collins system up to automatically send out a cancellation email when the status of the booking is changed to Rejected/Cancelled. I.e. every time you press the red Reject button and SAVE, a cancellation email will automatically be sent to the customer.
To set this up, go to Settings:
Venues
Select Venue
Booking Types
Select the relevant Booking Type (if you would like this to happen for all types of bookings this needs to be set up per Booking Type)
Scroll down to the Emails section
Tick the box next to where it says ‘Automatic Cancellation’
You can then also add additional text to this email i.e. the venue's number - if the customer would like to speak to a member of the team
Make sure to SAVE the page
